Traditionally a cazuela is a small clay cooking vessel, and also the term for the dishes cooked in them, common throughout Central and South America.

We made our iron version for a Mexican restaurant to make and serve hot appetizers (queso fundido!), and they are great for keeping dips warm as well as baking individual servings (baked eggs, pot pies, cobbler...). They also make great burger covers on the grill! Thick iron walls keep the heat in long after they've been taken from the oven. Sold individually or in a set of four, they stack easily for storage. Let us know what you do with them!

Made from 100% recycled iron, each piece is hand cast and finished and comes to you pre-seasoned with three coats of organic flax seed oil (Kosher certified).

Each Cazuela will have slight variations in appearance due to its hand finishing.
